About Us:

PJSS Development offers fun, energetic, and structured football (soccer) classes for toddlers aged 18 months to 5 years. Our mission is to introduce young children to the joy of movement and teamwork through football-based play.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and patient coach to lead toddler football classes. This role involves delivering age-appropriate football sessions that focus on motor skills, coordination, and social development—while making sure every child is having fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engaging and fun football sessions for children aged 18 months to 5 years.
  • Adapt coaching styles to suit the developmental stage of each age group.
  • Use play-based learning techniques to teach basic football skills.
  • Create a positive and safe atmosphere where toddlers feel confident to participate.
  • Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers before and after classes.
  • Set up and pack away all equipment before and after each session.
  • Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Keep attendance records and provide feedback when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:

  • Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain before starting).
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and confident leading groups.
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with children and parents.
  • Passion for early childhood development and sports.

Desirable:

  • Coaching certification (e.g., FA Level 1 or equivalent).
  • Pediatric First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of child safeguarding best practices.
