Job Mission: to ensure Bristol City attracts, develops and retains the talent we need off the pitch to gain promotion to the Premier League and to stay there.
Key Responsibilities:
•To set the HR strategy that underpins a high performing and highly motivated workforce.
•Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process to build and onboard a diverse, collaborative and talented workforce.
•Create a recognition and reward framework that incentivises achievement done the right way, exhibiting the club’s values and behaviours.
•Promoting a culture of professional growth through embedding regular feedback, formal performance reviews, mentoring and training programmes.
•Support proactive people management across the business, including advising on all employee relations matters to ensure fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
•Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement in HR systems, processes and practices.
•Collaborate with Finance team to ensure good governance of Bristol City’s payroll and pension scheme.
•Ensure compliance with employment law, safeguarding requirements, and Club policies.
•Champion the Club’s EDI agenda, driving meaningful initiatives that promote equality and belonging.
Experience required:
•CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) qualification and current professional membership.
•Significant experience in a senior HR generalist or business partner role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
•Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
•Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
•Experience of driving the people agenda and making things happen in a small but highly effective team within a fast-paced professional environment.
