💼 Salary: Competitive
🕰️ Hours: 37.5 basic hours Monday-Friday. Five weeks’ paid holiday. You will be expected to work on weekends, Bank Holidays and other antisocial hours to cover matches and other events

We’re looking for a creative and driven Editorial Content Producer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in shaping how millions of supporters experience the Club—across digital, print, and matchday platforms.
From the roar of matchday to behind-the-scenes exclusives, you’ll help bring the story of West Ham United to life ⚒️
🎯 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
🧠 Content Planning
- Collaborate in editorial and content planning meetings
- Help deliver engaging content on time and to a high standard
- Build strong relationships across the Club to spot content opportunities
- Contribute to short and long-term editorial strategies
📝 Content Production
- Create compelling written content for:
- Club website & app
- Social media
- Matchday programme
- Cover matches (Men’s First Team, Academy & Women’s Team) ⚽
- Report on Club & Foundation events in the community
- Conduct interviews with players, staff, and supporters
- Sub-edit and refine content from contributors
- Maintain the Club’s tone of voice and editorial standards
📊 Content Evaluation
- Analyse performance and engagement across platforms
- Continuously improve content through feedback and insights
- Support the Editorial Team with ongoing optimisation
Requirements
✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Essential Skills & Experience:
- At least 1 years’ experience in editorial/content writing (sport preferred)
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail ✍️
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with CMS platforms & Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working matchdays, evenings & weekends
- Ability to travel between locations 🚗
- Experience conducting interviews
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant degree or NCTJ qualification (or equivalent)
