Hours: Part-time / Casual (evenings + weekends + school holidays available)

Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and high-quality Football Coach to join our coaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging sessions that develop players technically, physically and mentally — while promoting a professional standard of coaching and communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured football coaching sessions across multiple programmes
- Deliver sessions for a range of age groups and abilities (foundation phase to youth development phase)
- Deliver and support 1v1s, small-sided games, technical practices and match-based learning
- Create a fun, inclusive, high-energy environment where players develop and enjoy football
- Identify player needs and adapt coaching to support progression
- Monitor and record progress, providing clear feedback to players
- Promote strong standards around behaviour, teamwork and sportsmanship
- Maintain professional communication with parents, players and staff
- Ensure all sessions meet Soccer HQ standards for quality, safety and safeguarding
Essential Requirements
✅ Proven coaching experience (football)
✅ Confident working with children and young people
✅ Strong session organisation and delivery
✅ High energy, positive mindset, professional attitude
✅ Strong communication skills
✅ Ability to adapt coaching for different abilities
✅ Willingness to work evenings/weekends (and camps during school holidays)
Desirable (Not Essential)
⭐ FA / UEFA coaching qualification (Level 1 / UEFA C / UEFA B preferred)
⭐ Experience delivering futsal sessions (National Futsal Qualification)
⭐ Experience in private coaching / technical development
⭐ Experience coaching grassroots teams
⭐ Teaching / youth work background
Safeguarding & Compliance
All applicants must have (or be willing to complete):
- Enhanced DBS check
- FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
- Emergency First Aid (or equivalent)
