First Team Coach (Volunteer)

The Role

We are seeking a First Team Coach to join our senior set-up. You will work closely with the manager to plan and deliver training sessions, support player development, and contribute to matchday preparation and performance.

Requirements

• FA Level 1 coaching qualification (minimum)

• A genuine passion for working in a competitive men’s football environment

• Commitment to weekly training (Thursday evenings) and Saturday matches

• Must live within easy travelling distance of Lightwater

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading engaging training sessions

• Support the first team manager with tactics, player feedback, and matchday preparation

• Help create a positive and competitive environment for players to perform at their best

• Promote the values and standards of Lightwater United FC
