Job Title: Recreational Trainer
Job Type: Part-time Seasonal
Closing Date: April 20, 2025
Salary: $17.60-$22/hour (based on experience)
Hours of work: Up to 20 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5pm-9pm, Saturday 8am-2:00pm (Mid-May to End of August)

Position Overview
Under the guidance of the Recreational Department, responsible for the planning and delivery of training sessions,
gameday coaching, supervising participants and ensuring documentation is completed as necessary.

Ensure a safe environment, provide support to participants, contribute to a fun and knowledgeable experience,
and liaise information from the Recreational Department to parents/guardians as needed.

Should be enthusiastic and flexible and have experience leading or running activities with children.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
• 16 years old or older
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with children/youth
• Experience playing soccer
• Good organizational and leadership skills
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C Certification is considered an asset
• Ability to effectively deal with participants, staff and parents/guardians
