This volunteer role is to support the clubs Safety Officer in delivery of a safe stadium on match-days ensuring our policies and procedures are applied in all of our operations. This role requires the post holder to be available on selected match-days and deputise for the safety officer. This role does require you to have some experience and ideally a qualification in sports ground safety management (NVQ 3 or 4 in spectator safety management) or equivalent relevant other qualifications. This role will be open to anyone who wants to volunteer with the club on a match-day. The role is primarily focused on providing help to people. Our car park team are the first people visitors the ground see on a matchday. This role is vital to ensure our people are safe and our car parks are organised and routes that need to be kept clear are maintained. This role can be physically demanding with the need to outdoors and directing people and vehicles. No prior experience is necessary, however you do need to available upto 3 hours before scheduled kick off time.
