The Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable safeguarding professional to work closely with the Head of Safeguarding to implement and promote the Club’s safeguarding and wellbeing policies and procedures across their department. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, child-centered environment and ensure all safeguarding and wellbeing standards are consistently met and maintained within SAFC.
The role involves maintaining accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation on all safeguarding, wellbeing concerns, and child protection matters, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations. You will manage referrals to external bodies including children’s social care services, the LADO, the police, the Premier League, and the FA when necessary, and represent the Club at external safeguarding and wellbeing meetings as required.
