Sporting KC is seeking to hire a Strength & Conditioning Coach for a paid fellowship position for the 2027 MLS season. This position is intended for professional development and is focused on furthering knowledge and skills in the field of athletic performance. The individual will primarily take an active role assisting with our MLS Next Developmental Academy as well as MLS Next Pro team, Sporting Kansas City II.   The individual selected for the fellowship will gain hands-on experience within an overarching High-Performance structure through performing a variety of roles within a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes environment, with the chance to have a direct impact on professional soccer in Kansas City. Job description To deliver and support the physical performance provision across the Youth Development Programme (YDP), with a primary focus on the Foundation Phase (FP), working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support the club’s values and culture within the Fulham FC Academy Performance Department. The post holder will play an important role in supporting the physical development of academy players through age-appropriate, evidence-based sport science and strength and conditioning practice.   Alongside the primary delivery focus, the role will contribute to the Performance Department’s data strategy, supporting an evidence-based approach to the collection, analysis and visualisation of data to inform practice and decision-making across the department.
