Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for Host Families to accommodate young players between 13-23 years of age. Homes need to be located within a close proximately to the Clayton Wood Training Ground (ST4 6NB) as transport for young players is provided by the Academy. Hosts are encouraged to include young players in family life and young players are expected to respect their Host Family’s way of life. Both hosts and young players are given guidelines explaining what is expected of them.  All our Host Families are regularly visited and inspected by the Academy Safeguarding Officer, and are required to provide satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check. In return the Club will provide the Host Family with a payment as well as the necessary training to ensure you understand the needs of an elite athlete. Host families play a vital role in supporting the personal development, wellbeing and educational success of our young players.
