JOB SUMMARY The   Staff Accountant reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for performing the daily functions of the accounting cycle for D.C. United and its subsidiaries and affiliates. The Staff Accountant will process accounting transactions related to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger in adherence with generally accepted accounting principles. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to meet deadlines and is proactive in avoiding potential problems while recommending improvements to internal processes. JOB SUMMARY The Academy Performance Coach will develop and implement strength and conditioning training for D.C. United’s academy teams in accordance with the academy’s curriculum, periodization, objectives, and values. They will work in conjunction with head coaches, goalkeeper coach, athletic trainer and other teams in the club to maximize the potential of each player, and the efficiency of each session. The Performance Coach will be training sessions, matches, and tournaments. They are also expected to test and improve each player’s physical qualities in relation their current playing level and what the next level will require. Constant, specific and accurate feedback to players/coaching staff will be necessary as is the tracking of specific, trackable data points.
