About The Role
You will be working with the Forest Green Rovers academy and work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence based individualised athletic development for the academy professional and youth development players.
Main objectives:
Design, lead & manage activities aimed at maximising the health, fitness and athletic performance of scholarship and academy players.
Develop and implement a strength & conditioning programme that will aid the athletic development of all scholarship and academy players.
Maintain records (for Audit/EPPP purposes).
Analyse GPS data from game and training days to monitor workload.
Conduct regular testing of players to ensure progression along their athletic development.
Contribute to the daily and mesocycle MDT meetings and player reviews
Contribute to the CPD of all key stakeholders.
Contribute to the Academy athletic development strategy.
