As a member of the women’s soccer staff, this part-time position assists the Head Women’s Soccer Coach in the coordination, guidance, direction, and supervision of the women’s soccer program, with emphasis on academic and athletic excellence.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to provide instruction to student-athletes during practices and competition. Evaluates athletic performance and develops / implements practice plans / schedules related to team concepts and technical skill development of student-athletes.
Evaluates competing players/teams and develops/implements/adjusts game/situation strategies within philosophy of head coach.
Counsels and motivates current student-athletes towards attainment of academic, athletic, and individual achievement. May serve as liaison to academic counselor and Knights Leadership Academy regarding student-athlete progress towards graduation and professional development.
