ABOUT US Founded in 1932, Wigan Athletic were elected to the Football League in 1978 and were promoted out of the Fourth Division in 1981/82. Latics won the Third Division title in 1996/97, the Football League Trophy in 1999, and the Second Division in 2002/03, before securing promotion to the Premier League in 2004/05. Latics famously won the FA Cup in 2013, beating Premier League giants Manchester City in the Final. However, Latics were relegated later that year, bringing their memorable eight-season stay in the top flight to an end. The FA Cup success did, though, mean Latics gained their place in the UEFA Europa League the following season. United Guest Experience team is seeking motivated undergraduate or graduate students who are passionate about live-event environments, fan engagement, and exceptional customer service. Guest Experience Interns will support the planning and execution of all Audi Field events including D.C. United, Washington Spirit, DC Power FC, UFL games, and special events, to help deliver a best-in-class experience for every guest. Interns will gain hands-on experience in stadium operations, staffing logistics, employee engagement, and fan-focused service delivery.
