An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join the Grounds department at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Groundsperson. This role will be responsible for the maintenance and preparation of all surfaces for First Team and Academy matches.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain all First Team and Academy pitches to agreed standards, ensuring they are ready for training and matchday use.
Maintain the Academy indoor training facility, including regular brushing and upkeep.
Support seasonal pitch renovation and end-of-season maintenance programmes.
Operate, inspect and maintain grounds machinery safely, reporting faults and assisting with repairs and mower setup.
Mark out pitches accurately and maintain goals, nets and ball-stop fencing, reporting any defects.
Carry out landscaping and site maintenance, including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, weeding and planting.
