ABOUT US Founded in 1932, Wigan Athletic were elected to the Football League in 1978 and were promoted out of the Fourth Division in 1981/82. Latics won the Third Division title in 1996/97, the Football League Trophy in 1999, and the Second Division in 2002/03, before securing promotion to the Premier League in 2004/05. Part Time Lead Goalkeeper Coach in Ipswich  We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Goalkeeper Coach to lead our goalkeeping centre in Ipswich,  on Friday evenings at Kesgrave Community Centre between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. The candidate will coach a group of young and enthusiastic goalkeepers (aged 7-14 years old), mixing technical and tactical learning with fun and enjoyable weekly sessions. The candidate should have experience coaching goalkeepers before and be comfortable working with a group of young goalkeepers.  GK Icon Academies run 50 nights of the week across the UK aiming to develop the next generation of young goalkeepers with weekly goalkeeper training. We also run overseas goalkeeping camps in Spain / Holland and summer camps with some of the best goalkeeper coaches in the country giving the candidate plenty of opportunities to develop as a coach.
