The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions of the Finance department.  This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Finance.  The Senior Accountant will analyze and book intercompany accounting, work with departments for revenue recognition for all non-settlement-based revenue and reconcile the corresponding deferred revenue accounts. The Senior Accountant will assist in the budgeting and forecast process. This position supports the finance team to complete all period end reporting and reviews such as an annual audit and tax returns. Overview The Senior Manager, Accounting maintains financial reports and general ledgers for the international entities of both Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements and providing accounting support to the Finance Department. In addition, the position will manage or assist others in the quarterly consolidations of all the companies, including the management of player-related quarter end consolidation and cash flow work.
