Job Description Stockport county FC are seeking host families who can provide accommodation for Academy players aged 16-18 years. Our ideal host family provision will be able to offer young players a stable, safe and comfortable family environment. Young players like all young people require support to ensure good mental health and wellbeing, for elite youth footballers this is also imperative to their performance on the pitch. At Stockport County FC we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment for player growth and development. We want our players to fulfil their potential as people and players. Duties and Responsibilities ETC: • To be committed to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all staff and players, promoting their well-being whilst maintaining professional boundaries. • To drive and nurture a positive culture within the training group and be a coach who makes the Training Centre a place where players learn, have fun and develop a love for the game. • Plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate coaching sessions in the ETC, following a training programme. • Provide input to the development and ongoing improvement / adaptation of the coaching curriculum. • Coach in a way that ensures players; are encouraged to ask questions and seek feedback for improvement and clarity; are encouraged to have input to footballing decisions and their own learning process; are communicated the why’ as well as ‘what’ of decisions; know and understand the purpose and ‘why’ of training sessions. • Contribute towards selection...
