About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Associate, Lead Data Engineer.
You will help to deliver, maintain, and enhance the club's enterprise data platform and data warehouse services. You will combine technical leadership with practical development, designing and supporting scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, data models, APIs, and AWS-based data solutions.
Working across technologies including AWS S3, Lambda, Fargate, Glue, Redshift, SQL, and Python, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and ongoing evolution of the club's data capabilities. You will also provide technical oversight and day-to-day guidance to offshore development teams, ensuring solutions are well-designed, thoroughly tested, aligned with architectural standards, and maintainable for the long term.
