JOB SUMMARY The   Staff Accountant reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for performing the daily functions of the accounting cycle for D.C. United and its subsidiaries and affiliates. The Staff Accountant will process accounting transactions related to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger in adherence with generally accepted accounting principles. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to meet deadlines and is proactive in avoiding potential problems while recommending improvements to internal processes. Position Summary D.C. United is seeking hard-working, committed staff to assist with events in this part-time role for the 2026 season. The Event Operations staff are responsible for working soccer matches (MLS, NWSL, USL, International Friendlies, etc.), other sporting events (UFL, Congressional Sporting Events, etc.), as well as concerts, festivals, and corporate events hosted at Audi Field. This staff will work closely with the D.C. United Operations staff to fulfill these responsibilities and represent the club professionally on event days.
