Job Description

Key Duties

  • Lead one of our Men’s Senior Teams, competing and training at a high level in competitive league football, with the ambition of achieving promotion into a semi-professional football league.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions, matchday preparation, and tactical development to support the team’s promotion objectives.
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with players, club staff, league officials, sponsors, partners, and venues.
  • Have a direct impact on the development and progression of the club through high coaching standards, leadership, recruitment ideas, and innovative approaches.
  • Manage player development, performance standards, discipline, and team culture within a competitive senior football environment.
  • Ability to work across different settings and venues, including training grounds and matchday locations.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends for training sessions and fixtures.
  • Confidence to communicate effectively with senior players, club management, supporters, and external stakeholders.
  • Bring creativity and professionalism to training sessions, match preparation, and the wider role within the club.

Requirements

  • FA Level 1 Football Coaching Qualification (essential)
  • FA Level 2 Football Coaching Qualification (essential)
  • UEFA B Licence (desirable)
  • FA DBS Certificate (preferred)
  • Experience coaching or managing within competitive men’s football environments.
  • Strong passion and enthusiasm for senior grassroots and non-league football.
  • The candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK.
