After School Sports Coach

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Football, Sports & Activities Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging after school sports sessions. across a variety of age groups. Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and deliver sports coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
• Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to ensure participants understand techniques and rules
• Motivate and encourage participants to achieve their personal best while maintaining a safe fun learning environment
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support skill development
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, safe, and suitable for use during sessions
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behaviour among participants

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching within a similar setting
• Strong knowledge of various sports techniques, rules, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals of diverse ages and abilities
• Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to promoting inclusive participation in sport and physical activity
• Punctual to ensure sessions are well setup and ready for participants to enjoy.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.50-£20.00 per hour
