Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Football Coach to join our sports club. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. Duties

  • Plan, organise, and deliver football training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
  • Develop training programmes that focus on technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
  • Motivate players to achieve their personal best while emphasising sportsmanship and teamwork
  • Monitor and evaluate individual player progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement
  • Organise team selections, match preparations, and participation in local competitions or tournaments
  • Ensure all training activities adhere to safety standards and promote a positive, inclusive environment
  • Collaborate with other coaches, staff, and parents to support player development programmes
  • Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is safe, clean, and well-organised

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly football or similar team sports
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players of varying ages and abilities
  • Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules of football, and safety procedures
  • Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for developing young athletes and fostering team spirit
  • Organised with the ability to plan engaging sessions that promote skill development and enjoyment of the game
  • Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake necessary training is expected

Pay: £12.50-£25.00 per hour
