Total Goalkeeping is growing — and we’re looking for another goalkeeper coach to join our team. We work with goalkeepers of different ages and levels, from those taking their first steps in specialist coaching through to ambitious grassroots, academy and aspiring professional goalkeepers.
We’re looking for someone who loves the position, cares about the detail and wants to help goalkeepers develop.You might be an ambitious coach at the beginning of your coaching career. You might already have strong qualifications and be looking for the right environment to develop your experience. Or you might be an established goalkeeper coach looking for a new challenge or an opportunity that works alongside playing football, teaching or another career.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This can be much more than simply picking up a few coaching sessions. You’ll coach goalkeepers across different ages and levels, deliver 1-to-1 and small-group sessions, contribute ideas, and help us develop new programmes, centres and locations. We’re growing Total Goalkeeping and we need coaches who want to help us build goalkeepers, build programmes and build what comes next.
A ROLE THAT CAN WORK AROUND YOU
The role can range from a small number of regular weekly sessions through to a much larger coaching commitment, depending on your availability and the level of responsibility you want to take on. We have coaching opportunities from Monday evenings through to Saturday mornings, with additional opportunities on Sundays. There are also opportunities for daytime 1-to-1 coaching, including working with adult goalkeepers.
Fees depend on experience, qualifications, availability and responsibility, with earning potential of up to approximately £40,000 per year for someone taking on a substantial coaching role.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re interested in coaches at different stages of their coaching journey. What matters is that you understand and love goalkeeping, notice the details that change performance, communicate clearly and positively, are reliable, organised and professional, bring energy and creativity, and want to keep learning and developing.
Relevant goalkeeper or football coaching qualifications are valuable, as is previous playing or coaching experience. Equally, if you’re still developing as a coach and have the right foundations and attitude, we want to hear from you.

🧤⚽ TOTAL GOALKEEPING
Total Goalkeeping (TGK) is a specialist goalkeeper coaching service in London delivering FA/UEFA-licensed training for goalkeepers of all ages and abilities. We exist to help goalkeepers reach and maintain peak performance while developing a lasting love for the game, whether they’re starting at grassroots, pushing through higher levels, or looking for an edge in elite football.
Our programme includes 1-to-1 coaching, small group sessions, and in-game appraisal to drive lasting improvement through coaching that is detail-focused, challenging, and fun. We work through a simple development pathway—Understand, Execute, Internalise—and design every session around four pillars: technical development, game understanding, decision making, and speed & agility. Training is built to be game-realistic, combining technique, movement, and scenario-based practice.
TGK also supports progression beyond the training pitch. For goalkeepers aiming to move clubs or push toward academy/pro pathways, we help create opportunities through Talent ID activity, trials, and connections where appropriate.
