VOLUNTARY FOOTBALL SCOUTS WANTED
Regional Feeder League Representative Team
The West Yorkshire Association Football League is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Voluntary Football Scouts to help us identify the best players from across our league to be called up into the League Representative team.
Working closely with the Representative Team Manager and his coaching staff, you will play an important role in spotting players with the quality, ability and attitude to step up and represent the League.
The Role
- Regularly attend league and cup fixtures across the league geography on Saturday afternoons.
- Identify and recommend players capable of playing at Representative team football.
- Assess technical ability, tactical awareness, physical attributes, attitude and overall potential.
- Provide concise feedback and player recommendations to the Representative Team Manager and coaching staff via the Scouting Report Form.
- Work closely with the management team to follow up and monitor potential selections.
We’re looking for people with a good eye for a player, a strong understanding of the game and a genuine enthusiasm for identifying talent.
Previous scouting or coaching experience is welcome, but not essential.
This is a voluntary role and a great opportunity to contribute to the success of an established Regional Feeder League and it's Representative Team.
