We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Football Coach to join our dynamic team at Edstart Soccer School. The successful candidate will deliver football sessions at our Saturday Development Sessions, we also have hours during the week for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities – Saturday Soccer School Coach

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality football coaching sessions every Saturday for children of all ages and abilities.
  • Plan and deliver fun, safe, and inclusive sessions that develop technical skills, game understanding, confidence, and teamwork.
  • Create a positive, welcoming environment where every child feels encouraged to participate and enjoy football.
  • Organise age-appropriate practices, small-sided games, and match play to maximise learning and enjoyment.
  • Adapt coaching activities to meet the needs and abilities of all participants, ensuring every child is challenged and supported.
  • Promote fair play, respect, teamwork, and positive behaviour in line with Edstart's values.
  • Set up and pack away equipment, ensuring the playing area is safe and ready for each session.
  • Register attendees and communicate professionally with parents and carers where required.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare procedures are followed at all times.
  • Represent Edstart professionally and contribute to the continued growth and success of the Saturday Soccer School programme.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience coaching or teaching sports.
  • Recognised Football coaching qualifications
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Clear and confident communication with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
