Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated individual to take ownership of the ordering of all New Product print, to develop and continuously improve our New Product print strategy, and to manage the reporting and analysis of Print sales performance using up-to-date software and AI tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing in advance for products coming into the warehouse.
- Communicating with several key departments, stakeholders, and directors on a regular basis, including licences, order statuses, and new developments.
- Liaising with Marketing and Buyers to coordinate print purchases and to promote printed lines
- Acting as the point of contact between Print and Product: communicating logistical constraints and considerations to Product, and communicating upcoming priorities to Print to allow for planning time
- Responsible for purchasing print-related products whilst maintaining awareness and remaining confidential with financial totals.
- Making informed recommendations for print orders with the Heads of Current Season and Clearance and purchasing namesets, numbers, patches, and sponsors from various suppliers
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers to fill print gaps and minimise delays.
- Updating and monitoring a purchase orders spreadsheet to share information regarding individual print orders made, expenditure, units, and forecasted print arrival dates
- Tracking print arrivals and any backlog of uncounted namesets, communicating this to internal stakeholders
- Working closely with the BNIB print team to prioritise printed lines and share any quality control issues, then reporting these to suppliers
- Processing printed stock to go onto the website.
- Creating barcodes via Google Sheets and importing them onto our database software.
- Continuous learning about football shirts.
- Committed to maintaining high standards and proficiency.
- Understanding the latest trends with footballers and their market value whilst keeping track of transfer news.
- Assisting the Head of Current Season with non-print-related tasks where appropriate, including but not limited to:
- the ordering and tracking of Current Season stock
- Updating the launch calendar
- Creating and monitoring Purchase Orders
- Collecting different opportunities for printed shirts from various sources
- Developing sophisticated spreadsheets and tools to track printed shirt stock levels and proactively restock shirts
Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
