Volunteer Social Media Team Member

About the Role
Tayport Football Club is looking to add to our existing social media team and is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Volunteer Social Media Team Member to help promote the club across our social media platforms.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in social media, video content, digital marketing, communications or football to gain practical experience working with a community football club while becoming part of an established and supportive team.
The Role
Working alongside our existing social media team, you will help create and publish engaging content across Tayport FC's social media channels, with a particular focus on video content and short-form social media.
Responsibilities may include:
- Creating engaging video content for social media
- Recording matchday and training content
- Creating short-form videos, reels and highlights
- Producing pre-match and post-match video content
- Creating engaging social media posts and captions
- Promoting matchdays, results, fixtures, events and club news
- Helping develop new video ideas to increase engagement and grow our following
- Working alongside the existing social media team on content planning
- Keeping up with current social media trends and identifying ways to use them to promote the club
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Creative and enthusiastic
- Confident using social media platforms
- Interested in video content, social media and football
- Comfortable recording and creating video content
- Interested in editing short-form videos for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Keen to learn and develop their skills
- Full of ideas for creative and engaging football content
Previous experience is welcome but not essential. We are particularly interested in hearing from students, graduates or anyone looking to build practical experience in social media, video production, marketing, communications or content creation.

Important Information
This is a voluntary, unpaid position. The role is flexible and can be worked around existing employment, education or other commitments.
Some availability for matchdays and club events would be beneficial.
