About Conquest Academy

Conquest Academy is one of the UK's fastest-growing independent football development programmes, providing an elite training environment for ambitious young players aged 6-18.

We work with players across grassroots, academy and scholarship pathways, with our coaching programme designed around the standards expected within the professional game. Our players regularly train and compete against Professional Club Academies, showcase opposition and elite independent programmes, whilst also benefiting from close relationships throughout English and European football.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and ambitious Academy Football Coach to join our coaching team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering high-quality coaching sessions, managing an academy squad and supporting the long-term development of our players both on and off the pitch.

Coaching Schedule

The successful candidate will be expected to work:

  • Monday Evening Training
  • Wednesday Evening Training
  • Friday Evening Training
  • Sunday Fixtures

Additional opportunities may also be available through:

  • Saturday Showcase Fixtures
  • Professional Academy Fixtures
  • Tournaments
  • Player Development Events

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality coaching sessions.
  • Manage an academy age group throughout the season.
  • Create an enjoyable but demanding learning environment.
  • Implement the Conquest Academy coaching methodology.
  • Prepare players tactically, technically, physically and psychologically.
  • Manage matchdays, substitutions and player development objectives.
  • Provide regular feedback to players and parents where appropriate.
  • Complete player reviews and development reports when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sporting Director and wider coaching team.
  • Maintain the highest safeguarding and welfare standards.
  • Represent Conquest Academy professionally at all times.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • UEFA C Licence (minimum) or working towards.
  • FA Introduction to First Aid in Football (or equivalent).
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • FA Safeguarding Children qualification.
  • Experience coaching youth football.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for developing young footballers.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent attention to detail.
