Signature Move Academy is an independent football development company working with talented academy and grassroots players across London.
Our focus is individual player development creating environments where players receive greater detail, individual attention and position-specific coaching to complement their existing club football.
As we continue to develop our programme for the 2026/27 season, we’re looking to connect with outstanding coaches who share our approach to player development.
The Role
We’re looking for a Technical Development Coach to deliver high-quality small-group and position-specific development sessions.
You’ll work primarily with players aged U7–U16, including academy players and high-level grassroots players.
Sessions may include:
- Technical development
- 1v1 2v2
- Finishing & goalscoring
- Winger development
- Midfielder development
- Defender development
- Position-specific small-group sessions
- Academy/off-season programmes
- 1-to-1 and small-group player development
We don’t simply want someone who can organise good practices.
We’re looking for coaches or Talent ID (scouts) who can observe, identify detail, intervene effectively and coach the individual player within the session.
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in coaches who:
- Have a strong understanding of individual player development
- Can deliver detailed, challenging and engaging sessions
- Understand the technical and tactical demands of different positions
- Communicate confidently with young players and the parents
- Can adapt their coaching to different players and learning needs
- Are reliable, professional and organised
- Have evening and/or weekend availability
Qualifications & Experience
UEFA B preferred.
We would also consider UEFA C coaches with strong academy, development-centre or high-level youth football experience.
Applicants must have appropriate safeguarding qualifications and an Enhanced DBS, or be willing to complete the required checks. Clean UK Driving licence would be advantageous.
The Opportunity
This will initially be a freelance/session-based position, with the opportunity for increased involvement as we continue to grow.
We’re equally interested in hearing from excellent coaches or scouts who are currently working within professional academies or other football environments and may only have limited weekly availability as well as current or previous football players that want to transition to coaching.

Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
