Duties
- Plan and deliver dynamic football training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Lead team practices, drills, and game-day strategies to improve player performance
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their skills and confidence
- Organize and oversee friendly matches and tournaments, ensuring fair play and enjoyment
- Communicate regularly with players’ parents or guardians regarding progress and upcoming events
- Maintain equipment, ensure field safety standards, and uphold the integrity of the sports facility
Skills
- Proven sports coaching experience with a focus on football or similar team sports
- Strong teaching abilities to effectively communicate techniques, rules, and strategies
- Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate players of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to plan engaging sessions that balance skill development with fun
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to sports coaching and equipment use
- Enthusiasm for working with children or youth in a coaching capacity
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed
