Grassroots Advanced Player Development)
Terms: 2026-2027 Indoor & 2027 Outdoor

Summary

East Gwillimbury Soccer Club is committed to
growing the game of soccer in our community.
We see soccer as a vehicle for character,
teamwork, and responsibility. With a rapidly
expanding membership, we’re enhancing both
our Grassroots (U7–U12) and Competitive (U13–
U18) programs to better support player
development.

Our Player Pathway ensures every team is led by
a professional staff coach, supported by
volunteer team officials. Staff coaches are
compensated based on licensing, experience,
and availability.


The Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic Player
Development Coaches to join our technical
team and help shape the long-term development
of youth players.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Run age-appropriate sessions aligned with
each player’s development stage.
Follow the EGSC Curriculum to provide clear
technical guidance.
Maintain timely parent communication
throughout the season.
Keep the Team PowerUp app updated with
accurate schedules and information.
Attend coaching workshops and meetings
as part of ongoing development.


Qualifications and Experience

Upon hiring successful completion of ageappropriate coaching certifications (Note on
Licensing: We are fully committed to staff
development and are willing to invest in and
fund licensing training for high-potential
candidates who have not yet begun their
official Canada Soccer coaching pathway.)
Playing Experience is considered an asset
(NCAA, U Sports/CIS, League1)
Experience coaching soccer programs
within a wide variety of age groups


Compensation

$5,000–$10,000, based on experience and
qualifications
