JOB TITLE: Girls' Academy Coach

THE ROLE

Rangers FC is looking for a Girls Academy Coach to join our Women's & Girls' Department. You'll deliver coaching sessions within our Girls' Academy, supporting player development in line with the club's methodology and contributing to the wider Girls' Academy programme.

Reporting to the Girls' Academy Manager, you'll help plan, deliver, and review sessions for your squad, and play a part in supporting each player's individual development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering academy sessions in line with Rangers' football methodology and game model
• Planning, delivering, and reviewing sessions to the highest coaching standard
• Setting Individual Player Targets (IPTs) for every player in your squad
• Designing and implementing key components of the coaching curriculum
• Working closely with the Academy Manager to safeguard player wellbeing
• Managing each player as an individual project, with tailored reviews to maximise their potential
• Motivating, challenging, and inspiring players in your care
• Supporting Rangers' wider performance coaching culture
• Keeping up to date with best practice in player development
• Completing all administrative duties (Sport Office, player reports) accurately and on time
• Participating in Girls' Academy management meetings as required

THE CANDIDATE

• UEFA A Licence (essential)
• A confident, engaging coach with strong presence and composure under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages, Sport Office, and analysis software
• An innovative, motivating personality who can captivate both staff and players
• The ability to multi-task across the many demands of a high-performance academy environment
• A growth mindset and desire to keep learning
• Eligibility to work in the UK
