Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Football Coach to join our academy and partner club. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for football, follow club values and have the ability to inspire and motivate players of various ages and skill levels. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of aspiring players while developing coaching skills within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
• Develop customised training programmes focusing on technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical fitness
• Provide constructive feedback to players to foster improvement and confidence
• Organise team drills, practice matches, and game-day strategies
• Ensure all training activities adhere to health and safety regulations
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behaviour among players
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance programme quality

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within football or similar team sports
• Experience in teaching or mentoring individuals or groups in a sporting context
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of players
• Organisational skills to plan sessions effectively and manage multiple responsibilities
• A recognised coaching qualification or willingness to obtain one is desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
• A passion for youth development, sports education, and creating a positive sporting environment

Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour
