Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Football Coach to join our club. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching football and a strong commitment to educating and developing young players. This role plays a vital part in enhancing players’ skills, building teamwork, and nurturing a lifelong love for the game.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging training sessions that develop players’ technical skills, tactical understanding, and confidence.
  • Conduct weekly training sessions focusing on technique, strategy, and teamwork.
  • Assess player performance and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing improvement.
  • Organise and manage competitive Sunday league matches, ensuring all activities uphold the principles of fair play and sportsmanship.
  • Create a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes respect, discipline, and enjoyment.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and fellow coaches regarding player development and team objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 year’s experience in grassroots football coaching.
  • Strong ability to teach and motivate players, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and understanding of the game.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering clear instructions and feedback.
  • Genuine passion for football and the development of young athletes.
  • Flexibility to work Weekends to cover training sessions and matches.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications FA Level 1, Level 2 or UEFA C.
