Job Title: Assistant Football Coach

Location: Leeds

Thursday evenings at Guiseley School, Leeds LS20 8DT - 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Friday evenings at Crawshaw Academy High School, LS28 9HU - 6:00pm - 8:30pm.

Are you passionate about football and dedicated to empowering young players? We're seeking an Assistant Football Coach with an enthusiastic and outgoing personality to join our team in the Leeds area, primarily focusing on sessions for Primary school-aged children.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting lively and interactive football training sessions tailored for Primary school-aged children, held Monday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM or similar times.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to design dynamic activities, drills, and games that emphasize skill development and teamwork.
  • Provide enthusiastic encouragement and mentorship to players, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for learning and growth.
  • Support the coaching team in maintaining session structure and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Flexibility to contribute during holiday clubs or additional coaching activities.

Requirements:

  • Passion for football and a genuine desire to inspire and mentor young players.
  • An outgoing and engaging personality with exceptional communication skills.
  • Interest in coaching and supporting the training of Primary school-aged children.
  • Working towards or possess a Football Association (FA) coaching qualification.
  • Valid First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Valid Safeguarding qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • A valid driving license is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) will be required.
  • Availability for potential shifts during holiday clubs.

Salary: £12.71 - £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
