Job Title : League Manager / Football coach 
Location: Regents Park, London

Job Purpose 
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic League Manager / Football Coach to lead the delivery, organisation, and coaching of football programmes in the Regents Park area. The role will involve managing local league activity, delivering high-quality coaching sessions, and supporting the development of players across grassroots and development football environments. 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Deliver engaging and structured football coaching sessions across designated age groups and ability levels on Sunday mornings in Regents Park
  • Set up and pack down equipment  
  • Manage and coordinate local league fixtures, ensuring smooth organisation and communication with teams, parents, and venues on Saturday mornings in Regents Park
  • Support player development through positive coaching, feedback, and progression opportunities 
  • Plan and prepare coaching sessions in line with development principles and programme objectives 
  • Build strong relationships with players, parents, schools, and local community partners 
  • Ensure all sessions are delivered in a safe, inclusive, and positive environment 
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, fixtures, and player progress where required 
 
Essential Requirements 
  • Minimum FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification (UEFA C desirable or working towards) 
  • Experience working in grassroots or youth football environments 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills 
  • Ability to manage groups of children and young people in a positive and safe manner 
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare in sport 
 
Desirable Skills & Experience 
  • Experience in league or fixture coordination 
  • Experience working with diverse community groups 
  • Previous involvement in player development or talent identification programmes 
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required 
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
