We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable First Team Goalkeeper Coach to lead the development, preparation and performance of the Club’s goalkeepers. Working as part of the first-team coaching staff, the successful candidate will play a key role in match preparation, training delivery, player development, and goalkeeper recruitment.

Role
The Goalkeeping Coach will lead all aspects of goalkeeper performance, development, and recruitment within the Club The role involves preparing goalkeepers for matchday performance through detailed analysis, game-specific preparation and the delivery of goalkeeper training programmes. Working closely with coaching, analysis, and academy staff, the successful candidate will support the development of both first team and emerging goalkeepers while maintaining clear individual development plans.
Key responsibilities include leading goalkeeper preparation for fixtures, contributing to defensive set-piece planning and matchday operations, designing and delivering goalkeeper-specific training sessions, monitoring loan players, and creating development opportunities for high-potential academy goalkeepers.
The role also supports the Club’s recruitment strategy by maintaining succession plans for contracted goalkeepers and providing regular market intelligence and target lists for transfer windows, including first-choice, backup, development, trialist, and emergency loan goalkeeper options.
This is a full-time position on a fixed term, 2-year contract.
