Key Responsibilities

Player Welfare & Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for players regarding off-field matters.
  • Support players and their families in settling into life in the UAE.
  • Ensure players receive the highest level of care throughout their journey with the club.
  • Maintain regular communication with players to identify and address welfare concerns.
  • Provide support during personal, family, and emergency situations when required.
  • Promote player wellbeing and positive integration within the club environment.

Relocation & Settlement Services

  • Coordinate relocation and onboarding processes for new players and their families.
  • Assist with housing arrangements and accommodation requirements.
  • Support players with banking, telecommunications, transportation, and utility services.
  • Facilitate school and nursery placements for players' children.
  • Assist players in adapting to local culture and lifestyle.

Immigration & Government Relations Support

  • Coordinate residency visa applications and renewals.
  • Support players with Emirates ID procedures and government documentation.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities regarding player administrative requirements.
  • Ensure all player documentation remains valid and compliant.

Travel & Logistics

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for players and their families when required.
  • Assist with airport transfers, transportation, and accommodation bookings.
  • Support first-team travel operations during training camps and competitions.
  • Ensure players receive all travel-related information in a timely manner.

Family Support Services

  • Build positive relationships with players' spouses and families.
  • Provide assistance regarding healthcare, education, housing, and local services.
  • Organize family support initiatives and integration activities.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between the club and players' families.

Matchday & Training Support

  • Assist with operational requirements during training and matchdays.
  • Coordinate player requests related to club activities.
  • Support hospitality arrangements for players and approved guests.
  • Ensure smooth execution of player-related logistics.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidential player records and welfare files.
  • Track and manage player requests and support services.
  • Prepare periodic welfare and player care reports.
  • Ensure compliance with club policies and procedures.

Cultural Integration & Club Values

  • Help international players and staff integrate into the club culture.
  • Promote club's values, standards, and professional expectations.
  • Organize orientation sessions for new players.
  • Encourage positive engagement between players, staff, supporters, and the local community.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in player care, or a related role.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred

  • Experience within a professional football club.
  • Experience working with international athletes.
