We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Football Coach to support our coaching team in developing talented athletes and fostering a positive sporting environment. The successful candidate will work closely with head coaches to implement training programmes, motivate players, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Duties

• Assist in planning and delivering training sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
• Provide individual guidance and feedback to players to enhance their skills and confidence
• Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among athletes
• Ensure the safety of all participants during training and matches by adhering to health and safety protocols
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive environment that encourages player development

Skills

• Proven experience in sports coaching or playing football at a competitive level
• Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to communicate effectively with players of all ages
• Excellent organisational skills to manage training sessions and team logistics
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while fostering teamwork and discipline
• Knowledge of football rules, techniques, and safety procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team and engage with parents or guardians when necessary
• Enthusiasm for mentoring youth and promoting healthy sporting habits
