Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Football Coach to join our team at Princes Park Youth Football Club in <LOCATION>. This role is vital in shaping the skills and character of our young athletes, contributing to their development both on and off the field.
Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and conducting training sessions for youth players
  • Provide guidance and support during matches
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team environment
  • Help develop individual player skills and tactics
  • Collaborate with head coaches to implement training programs
  • Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Engage with parents to discuss player development
  • Promote sportsmanship and fair play among all participants

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
  • Knowledge of football techniques and strategies
  • Teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • First Aid certification is desirable
  • Passion for youth development and sports education
