Hours

  • After school football club Monday 3 - 4pm in Caterham
  • Other after school clubs potentially dependent on experience.

Duties

  • Plan, organise, and lead after school sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
  • Develop customised coaching programmes to improve technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical fitness
  • Motivate players to achieve their personal best while emphasising teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and promote a safe sporting environment
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and training materials in good condition

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly football or similar team sports
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players of all ages
  • Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules of football, and safety procedures
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while maintaining discipline
  • Organised with excellent planning skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic team player committed to fostering a positive sporting environment
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to obtain necessary qualifications is preferred

Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 5.0 per week
