Hours
- After school football club Monday 3 - 4pm in Caterham
- Other after school clubs potentially dependent on experience.
Duties
- Plan, organise, and lead after school sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Develop customised coaching programmes to improve technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical fitness
- Motivate players to achieve their personal best while emphasising teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and promote a safe sporting environment
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and training materials in good condition
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly football or similar team sports
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players of all ages
- Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules of football, and safety procedures
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while maintaining discipline
- Organised with excellent planning skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic team player committed to fostering a positive sporting environment
- Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to obtain necessary qualifications is preferred
Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 5.0 per week
