Schools Coordinator – Sports Education

Location: Midlands (Nuneaton, Coventry, Birmingham & surrounding areas)

We work closely with schools, academies and community organisations to create engaging, structured and impactful sessions that develop confidence, skills and a lifelong love for sport.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and organised Schools Coordinator to lead and grow our school partnerships.

This is a hybrid role combining delivery and coordination, ideal for someone who enjoys working on the ground with young people while also driving organisation, communication and growth behind the scenes.

You will play a key role in maintaining high standards across our current schools while actively expanding into new partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery (Approx. 50%)

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons and sports sessions in primary and secondary schools
  • Support after-school clubs, enrichment activities and school events
  • Maintain a professional, energetic and engaging coaching environment
  • Act as a positive role model for all pupils

Coordination & Growth (Approx. 50%)

  • Manage school timetables, bookings and staff allocation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and key stakeholders
  • Proactively reach out to new schools to generate opportunities
  • Oversee registers, reporting, safeguarding and quality assurance processes
  • Support performance tracking and contribute to funding or partnership opportunities

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience delivering PE or sports coaching in schools or youth environments
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively
  • Confident in building relationships and approaching new schools
  • Driven, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable

  • FA Level 2 (UEFA C) or equivalent coaching qualification
  • Experience working within school partnerships or community sport programmes
  • Understanding of the local education or sports landscape
