First Team Assistant S&C Coach

Job Description

London Bees Football Club is currently seeking a Women’s Team S&C Coach to assist the Coaching Team with assisting in developing and delivering an elite strength and conditioning programme across the First Team and any Reserve Team(s).

Contract Type: Volunteer

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead on the development of training plans for players.
  • Lead on the delivery of weekly gym or field-based training sessions.
  • Monitor the workload of players to ensure wellness and readiness.
  • Maintain player profiles.
  • Lead on the coaching of both individual and group strength and conditioning sessions.
  • Work with the wider medical team to provide a holistic approach to training and injury prevention.
  • To abide by all club policies including, but not exclusive to, Safeguarding, Equality and Health & Safety.

Skills & Experience:

  • A BSc in Sports Science or a related field.
  • A UK Strength and Conditioning accreditation (UKSA) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) (NSCA).
  • Hold the FA Level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) qualification.
  • Experience of developing physical development programmes.
  • The ability to educate, advise and motivate others.
  • Energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to enthuse and inspire.
  • The ability to work within a team environment.
  • Must have a desire to develop & improve.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and match days.
  • Experience working with female elite athletes.
