Position Title: Soccer Coach - Competitive Rep Development Program
Position Term: Part-Time / On-Going
Reports To: Athletic Director and Sport Coordinator
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Soccer Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in soccer, with the ability to educate and inspire players at the
competitive level. This role involves not only coaching on the field but also fostering a positive
team environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Join us in creating an

Responsibilities
● Develop and implement training programs that enhance player skills and performance.
● Conduct on-field practices and drills, focusing on technique, strategy, and teamwork.
● Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement.
● Foster a supportive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes respect and collaboration.
● Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding team
progress and individual goals.
● Ensure the safety of all players during practices and games by adhering to safety
protocols.
● Work collaboratively with the club head coach and support staff.
● Attend staff meetings to discuss program planning and player development.
Experience
● Previous coaching experience in soccer is mandatory; a strong understanding of the game
and essential skills are required.
● Experience with providing quality soccer coaching to youth ages 8-14.
● Experience working with youth, amateur or competitive athletes is a plus.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players.
● Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback.
● A willingness to engage in continuous learning about coaching techniques and player
development.
● Police-issued Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.
● Applicants must hold one or more of the following Ontario Soccer certifications:
FUNdamentals (U7–U9), Learn to Train (U9–U13), Ontario Soccer Grassroots Diploma,
Canada Soccer C Diploma.
● Additional Certifications Required: Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders, Making
Headway, Making Ethical Decisions, Rule of Two.
Season Dates
● May 11th, 2026 – September 20th, 2026
○ (Excluding statutory holidays and League blackout period)
Tentative Hours
● Monday through Thursday: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
● Saturday / Sunday: Game times TBD
○ Schedule is dependent on the team and age group and may vary
○ Additional hours available to work with our Recreation Teams based on
experience and availability.
Pay
● $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected Hours
● 6 – 10 per week
