Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Evening Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of our hotel premises. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms and public areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored securely after use
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently during evening shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards guest service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
