Banbury United FC

Banbury United Football Club was established in 1931 and is North Oxfordshire’s largest football Club. Known as ‘The Puritans’ we are proudly owned by our community and are based at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium in central Banbury.

Our men’s first team currently competes in the Vanarama National League North, supported by our U18 Development squad. Our women’s team plays in the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League – Division 1.

Twenty junior boys’ and girls’ teams play across the region, wearing the Banbury United red and gold colours. We support our community through various sporting programmes and as a social hub for everyone.

Banbury United Football Club is a Community Benefit Society. It is registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, Registration Number 7135, as Banbury United Community Football Club Ltd.

Banbury United FC are seeking a committed and enthusiastic First Team Goalkeeper Coach to help develop and support our senior goalkeepers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a close-knit, ambitious team and play a key role in preparing and developing our goalkeepers for competitive matchdays. Purpose of the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering goalkeeper training sessions, supporting matchday preparation and performance, and contributing to the overall development of our goalkeepers. Working closely with our First Team Manager, coaching staff, physios and analysts, you will help ensure our keepers are physically, mentally, and tactically prepared. You may also provide occasional support to the youth or development setup, helping create a pathway for emerging talent into the senior side.
