Banbury United FC

Banbury United Football Club was established in 1931 and is North Oxfordshire’s largest football Club. Known as ‘The Puritans’ we are proudly owned by our community and are based at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium in central Banbury.

Our men’s first team currently competes in the Vanarama National League North, supported by our U18 Development squad. Our women’s team plays in the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League – Division 1.

Twenty junior boys’ and girls’ teams play across the region, wearing the Banbury United red and gold colours. We support our community through various sporting programmes and as a social hub for everyone.

Banbury United Football Club is a Community Benefit Society. It is registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, Registration Number 7135, as Banbury United Community Football Club Ltd.

Role Summary   To provide leadership and exemplary professional standards in facilities, safety and events management, that will enhance the delivery of the future vision for Banbury United Football Club.   To direct and control specific club operations in accordance with the strategy and business plans agreed and implemented by the Board, to ensure that overall organisational goals and objectives are met. This new General Manager position will be the most senior employed position within the Club.
