One Club, Three Teams
Forest runs a one-club approach across the men's first team, the Academy and Forest Women, with all three integrated into the wider football department.
Men's First TeamCompeting in the Premier League, and UEFA Europa League semi-finalists in 2025/26. Home matches are played at the City Ground, which holds more than 30,000 supporters. |
The AcademyBased at the Nigel Doughty Academy, with age groups from the Foundation Phase to the B Team. The club aims for every Academy player to play abroad at least once or twice a season, and recent opponents include Ajax, Juventus and AC Milan. |
Forest WomenFounded in 1990 and fully integrated into the club's football department in 2023. Forest Women became a full-time professional team from 2025/26, after winning the FA WNL Northern Premier Division and League Cup in both 2022/23 and 2024/25. |

The Foundation, formerly the Nottingham Forest Community Trust, is the club's official charity. It supports tens of thousands of people every year through programmes in football, health and wellbeing, education, employability and schools, working with local authorities, health services and community organisations. Its 2026–2031 strategy has three priorities: Place, People and Potential.

Staff are based across two main sites in West Bridgford: the City Ground, home to the club’s stadium, commercial and matchday operations, and the Nigel Doughty Academy on Wilford Lane, where the Academy and training-ground teams are based.

Matchdays bring permanent and casual teams together to deliver one of English football’s most recognisable sporting occasions, while Academy staff work across age groups and travel internationally as part of the club’s development programme.
