The Cheshire Football Association is the not-for-profit governing body for all football in Cheshire, and is responsible for the organisation, education, governance and development of the grassroots game in the county.

Cheshire FA works in conjunction with the National Football Association and is an enterprising and dynamic SME in the heart of the County.

We currently have thousands of teams playing various formats of affiliated football with over 60,000 weekly participants. The game is supported by over 900 referees and upwards of 5,000 volunteers.

We are looking for FA-qualified referees to officiate the Ability Counts League during the 2024/25 season. Adult fixtures run monthly on Friday nights, and junior fixtures run monthly on Saturday afternoons. Both divisions play at Moss Far, Northwich (CW8 4BG). Please note; you must be over the age of 16 for this opportunity.

We’re looking for individuals who want to grow disability football to join the Ability Counts League Committee. Ability Counts is a competitive PAN-disability football league for clubs in Cheshire. We currently have two adult divisions and one junior division. We are looking for committee members who are passionate about developing disability football across Cheshire, and working with like-minded individuals to develop the league.

We are looking for co-ordinators to oversee monthly fixtures for the Ability Counts League. The role of the co-ordinators is to oversee the games, and to be a point of contact for teams taking part.
