Position Description: The Head Coach for the US Women’s National Amputee Soccer Team will be responsible for the cultivation and growth of amputee soccer for women and girls in the United States. This includes organizing, leading and directing the coaching staff to oversee the development of players in person at training camps and competitions and remotely while players are at their homes throughout the year to allow the US to compete at the sport’s highest level. Under direction of the President, the Head Coach will, in conjunction with the coaching staff, organize national team camps and competitions including identification of locations for camps, invited athletes to camps and logistics. In addition to National Team duties, the Head Coach will lead the development and growth of the AASA’s Women’s Program.
